Public and Patient Involvement
Public and patient involvement is embedded throughout REMESOS, ensuring that people with lived experience actively shape the project’s priorities, design, and dissemination. The REMESOS Lived Experience Advisory Board is composed of people from different countries with personal experience of mental health challenges, and also directly shape the implementation of the peer support model and ensure findings are clearly communicated.
Lived Experience Advisory Board Members
The Lived Experience Advisory Board is composed of individuals with lived experience of mental health and from various European countries. They share their experiences and perspectives to shape REMESOS at every step of the way.
Aim of the Project
The Resilient and Mentally Healthy Societies (REMESOS) project (2025-2028), funded under the EU4Health programme, will find expert agreement on the most appropriate way to measure population mental health across Europe, while also implementing a community mental health intervention to promote mental health on local level. The project is delivered by a diverse consortium of 12 partners from 9 countries, including public health institutes, universities, civil society organisations, and a network bringing together people with lived experience in poor mental health and mental disorders.
Work Packages
Work Package 1
Coordination and Project Management
This work package ensures the effective coordination, governance, and management of REMESOS. It oversees project planning, quality assurance, financial management, risk monitoring, and reporting, ensuring that all activities are delivered on time, ethically, and in line with project objectives.
Work Package 2
Communication and Dissemination
Work Package 2 makes REMESOS visible and accessible beyond the consortium. It manages communication and dissemination activities, translating project findings into clear, engaging materials for policymakers, practitioners, civil society, and the public, and supporting the uptake of project results across Europe.
Work Package 3
Measuring Population Mental Health
This work package focuses on improving how mental health and wellbeing are measured across Europe. It reviews and compares existing population-level mental health tools and works with experts to identify a reliable, policy-relevant approach that can be used to monitor mental health and evaluate policy impact across countries.
